Bhutanese food festival

May 22, 2008 | On the 9th and 10th May, 2008, a buffet dinner was organized by Ms. Atsuko Iwasaka, a senior JICA volunteer and Japanese cooking instructor for TCB along with the recently trained students in Japanese cooking. The dinner was organized in Hotel Pedling with the intention of introducing Japanese food to the Bhutanese and to test the cooking skills of the trainees. The proceeds (Nu. 6000.00) from the dinner is to be donated to Dragtso (institute for the disabled).
