Austrian Delegation to discuss Curriculum for HTMTI


April 30, 2008 | Mr. Leonhard Woerndl, the Dean at the Hotel & Tourism Management Institute, Klessheim, Salzburg and Ms. Gabriele Tischler, Assistant to the Managing Director, Academy Schloss Urstein Privatstiftung, Salzburg represented the team from Austria for the development of the Curriculum Development, Teacher Training and Technical Assistance in the operative phase for the Hotel & Tourism Management Training Institute in Bhutan. The team represents the “ARGE Tourismus Salzburg” which is compounded of three institutions “EMTA (School for Business Development in Tourism”, Akademie Urstein” and “Salzburger Schools for Tourism” under the educational branch of the Salzburg Economic Chamber. On the 22nd of April, 2008 Mr. Leo Worndl gave a presentation to the Director General and the officers of the Tourism Council of Bhutan on the tourism industry and activities of the tourism school in Austria; the presentation was also attended by Mrs. Weinberger, head of the Austrian Coordination Office.
