Request for Proposal for Content Writing and Designing

The Tourism Council of Bhutan would like to invite proposals for content writing and designing brochures/collaterals for various products including contents for the tourism website.

Nature of Support

The Tourism Council can help in providing standard material as photographs, relevant documents, festival list, dates etc.

Scope of Work

The scope of the proposal includes

• Writing and editing brochure contents for the proposed new products across the circuits.

Eastern circuit

Western circuit

Southern circuit

Central circuit

Folk Festival

Takin Festival

Nomad Festival

Masutaki Festival

Merak Sakten Trek

Royal Manas National Park

• Developing layout and designing brochures with specifications of size and volume.
  • Providing all relevant photographs.
  • Providing an appropriate title for the brochure.
  • Ensure that feedback from the TCB is incorporated in the brochure.
  • Ensure that there is a separate write up for the tourism website.
  • Ensure that a printer ready copy both in print and soft copy is submitted to the Tourism Council of Bhutan.

Proposal Criteria

The proposal should fulfill the following criteria

1. The proposal should be in line with Bhutan’s tourism policy.
2. The proposal should be concise and well organized.
3. The proposal should be very clear in terms of deliverables and working procedures.
4. The proposal should reflect the importance of the product and its sustainability to the community and the environment.
5. All information in the proposal is complete and accurate.

Selection Criteria

The company will be selected based on documented qualifications and experiences. An Assessment Committee composed of representatives from the 3 Divisions will read the proposals and recommend for the final decision. The Assessment Committee reserves the right not to select any proposal without any explanation.

A legal agreement would be drawn up that will include the payment mode and/or conditional clauses linked to the performance and delivery.

The proposal with the quotes and all required documents along with the earnest money may be sent to Ms. Thinley Wangmo, MPD, TCB latest by 15^th April, 2010.
