Tourism Development Strategy for Zhemgang

June 6, 2008 | The Tourism Council of Bhutan prepared a project proposal for the development of Sustainable Tourism in Zhemgang Dzongkhag. The project was prepared in consultation with the Costa Rican counterparts for submission to SDS.

An officer from the Department and a SNV advisor visited Zhemgang Dzongkhag to brief the Dzongkhag officials on the project proposal and other future tourism development plans there. The team also visited a few tourism potential areas. The Project proposal was submitted in October 2007.
