Announcement (Online Permit System)

In order to streamline and facilitate smooth visitation by tourists from the region (Bangladesh, India and Maldives) the Tourism Council of Bhutan and the Department of Immigration under the Ministry of Home and Cultural Affairs are pleased to announce that an Online Permit System will be launched on 11th November 2016. The system will facilitate the online processing of permits for regional tourists through registered local tour operators and hotels. The system will be implemented as an optional facility initially. With this system permits for regional tourists can be processed ahead of their arrival in Bhutan.

All interested TCB registered hotels and tour operators should contact ICT Officer of TCB for details and further information.
