Clean and Safe Certification

Tourism Council of Bhutan will be initiating 'Clean and Safe' certification of star rated and non-star rated (budget) hotels and tourist standard restaurants to ensure that the business establishments are clean, safe and ready to serve customers in compliance to health and safety protocols. One of the conditions for the hotels and tourist standard restaurants to be certified is the training of its staff by TCB in collaboration with the Ministry of Health. Therefore, the service providers are requested to register for face to face training latest by September 28, 2021 as follows:

Hotels and tourist standard restaurants shall ensure that staff who are nominated for training are capable of providing in-house training to other staff.

Note: All hotels and tourist standard restaurants are urged to avail the training, which will be provided free of cost. Participants may be required to pay for the training in future.
