Introduction to Tourism Levy Act of Bhutan 2020

As per the Tourism Levy Act of Bhutan 2020, the visitors from Bangladesh, Maldives and India will be charged concessional Sustainable Development Fee (SDF). The levy of SDF came into effect from 1st July 2020.

The Tourism Council of Bhutan will organize awareness sessions on the implementation of Tourism Levy Act of Bhutan 2020 and share related information. The scheduled awareness program is from 15th April to 30th April 2021. Therefore, interested tour operators, hoteliers, guides, and ticketing agents are requested to register for the session latest by 10th April 2021 by filling this form.
