Jobs: "Employment Support Scheme"

ATTENTION: WHILE THE FORMAL ANNOUNCEMENT ON THIS IS YET TO BE MADE BY THE ROYAL GOVERNMENT ALONGWITH THE COMPLETE STIMULUS PLAN, WE ARE UPLOADING THIS SO THAT WE CAN ALREADY PILOT THIS ONLINE REGISTRATION FORM AND IMPROVE THE FORM IF NECESSARY!

Under the guidance of the Golden Throne and the Royal Government, the Tourism Council of Bhutan in collaboration with its partners worked on the ‘Employment Support Scheme' for fulltime tourism and hospitality employees by identifying projects. However, any other Bhutanese citizens who is in similar situations of joblessness due to the COVID 19 situation may also apply.

The goal of this scheme is to support those full-time employees of the tourism industry of Bhutan with temporary jobs and similar engagement projects during the travel restriction period, and before tourism becomes normal. It is hoped that these projects will support those affected with some economic benefit.

We have developed a google form to register those interested to take up projects. Please visit www.tourism.gov.bt and click on the 'Employment Support Scheme' green button to register. Please choose your options and we will accordingly award projects depending on your relevant skills and interest.
