Notification on annual Thimphu Dromche and Tshechu,

The Tourism Council of Bhutan would like to inform that during the annual Thimphu Dromchoe and Tshechu, all tourists shall be mandatorily accompanied by a tourist guide at all times. No guide shall leave his or her tourist/group unattended and strict dress code shall be maintained by all tourists. The use of umbrellas at the Tendrel Thang will be allowed as per the directives of His Holiness the Je Khenpo received by RBP in 2015.

Therefore, we expect full cooperation from all tour operators, guides, and tourists.
