Notification on Inspection of Tour Guide

The Tourism council of Bhutan will be carrying out a year round tour guide inspection in Thimphu and other parts of the country including Paro International Airport. On the spot checks will also be conducted on trekking groups to ensure that the guides and trekking personnel follow proper garbage management.

Therefore, all Tour Operators are requested to engage only those guides who have been licensed by TCB. All other Guides should strictly adhere to the Tour guide’s code of conduct and should display their licenses while on duty.
