Notification on tour bookings confirmed on or before 20th June, 2022

This is to notify that the Seventh Session of the Third Parliament had enacted the Tourism Levy Act of Bhutan 2022.

In pursuance to the enactment of the Tourism Levy Act of Bhutan 2022 and in accordance with Section 7 of the Act, Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB) notifies tour operators to submit information and documents related to bookings that were confirmed on or before 20th June, 2022. The undertaking letter and the online application link are available below.

The duly completed form must be submitted by 11:59 PM, 28th July 2022. Please note that ONLY online applications will be accepted and no walk-in applications will be entertained. Applications submitted after the deadline will NOT be considered.

The applications will be subject to verification and endorsement. No tour programs should be initiated until the tour operator receives a letter of endorsement from TCB, which will be issued latest by 1st August, 2022. Once TCB endorsement is received, the tour must commence within 31st December, 2023.
