Notification on Tourist Guide validation (10th August to 20th August 2022)

In preparation for reopening of tourism on 23rd September 2022, the Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB) will be validating and assessing the readiness of tourist guides.

  In this regard, tourist guides are required to submit an application via google form with an undertaking letter on or before 20th August 2022. The links for google form and undertaking letter is available on TCB website (www.tourism.gov.bt). The tourist guides must have a valid guide license and security clearance certificate (online approved). Please note that only online applications received within the deadline will be considered for readiness assessment.  

Tourist guides fulfilling the requirements will be subject to a readiness test, details of which will be communicated directly to the individuals.  

Kindly note that ONLY those who successfully complete the test shall be listed on the destination portal.  

TCB would like to inform that this will not be a one time exercise and similar exercises will be carried out after October 2022.
