NOTIFICATION ON VALIDATION OF TCB CERTIFIED ACCOMMODATIONS PHASE III

In line with the requirement for all guests to stay in TCB certified accommodations, Phase III

validation will be carried out to assess their readiness to cater to tourists. Therefore, TCB

would like to notify the following:

1. TCB Certified Hotels

a) Phase III validation will begin from October 3, 2022 for 3 star and above hotels that

missed the deadline or were not recommended under Phase I and Phase II.

b) The link of the google forms for submission of application is available on the TCB website

(www.tourism.gov.bt.) and will be open until 11.59 PM, October 24, 2022

c) Only online applications received within the deadline will be considered for validation. No

walk-in applications will be entertained.

d) TCB will contact hotels for on-site assessment to validate their readiness, where

necessary.

2. Homestays

a) TCB will contact homestays from October 3 to 24, 2022 to assess their readiness for

operation and will subsequently conduct on-site assessments to validate their readiness

under Phase III. TCB would like to inform that the validation will not be a one-time exercise.

Tourist accommodations may continue to upgrade their services and apply for validation as

and when ready.
