Request for Proposal : Trans Bhutan Trail

In partnership with the Tourism Council of Bhutan, the Bhutan Canada Foundation has undertaken a project to restore the ancient Trans Bhutan Trail. In the past two years, over 900 individuals impacted by the pandemic have come together to reinstate this ancient route, covering 403 kms between Haa and Trashigang, and crossing 27 Gewogs along its way. 

Bhutan Canada Foundation now intends to invest in the promotion of the Trans Bhutan Trail in major international markets, and as part of this venture, is looking to partner with a selection of Bhutanese Tour Operators keen to assist in providing tour experiences in culture, trekking, biking, and other tourism activities. 

As such, we invite interested Bhutanese Tour Operators to complete this RFP and return it before 8th October 2021.
