we want to invite you to join this pilgrimage through East Bhutan for 17days.As you will discover, Ney the mountains and valley. played a pivotal role in the life of Guru Rinpoché, In these hills and valleys, Guru Padmasambhava practiced for years in retreat, gave countless teachings to disciples, hid teachings for future generations to discover, and blessed the earth itself. At Nekhor’s, we will be given glimpses of the stories behind each of the following sacred sites in companion with the practical details for your pilgrimage: an overview, specific sites to explore and information regarding how to get there and the availability of food and accommodation.
Detail Itinerary
- Day 1 : Thimphu to Bumthang (visit Trongsa Dzong)
- Day 2 : Bumthang to Takila
- Day 3 : visit Takila and visit Lhuentse Dzong and drive to Kuenzangling via Dungkar.
- Day 4 : Kunzangling to Rinchen Bumpa, after breakfast Hike to Rinchen Bumpa, 4-5hours and afternoon Neykor
- Day 5 : Early morning Neykor (1hours) and walk down to Kuenzangling (2hrs 30mins) visit Dungkhar Naksang/Dungkar Choeje Lhakhang and visit Khawachung
- Day 6 : Khawachung to Mongar- Yarp
- Day 7 : Yarp to Aja, walking distance 6-7hours
- Day 8 : Neykor to Barkor and Rakor
- Day 9 : Aja Neykor (Tshekor and Rakor)
- Day 10 : Aja Neykor (Nangkor) afternoon Hotstone bath
- Day 11 : Aja to Yarp, walking distance 4-5hours and drive to Gom Kora
- Day 12 : visit Omba Ney (walking distance 2 hrs) and drive to Tashiyangtse
- Day 13 : visit to Dechenphording and afternoon visit Chorten Kora and evening drive to Bumderling
- Day 14 : visit Rigsum Goempa (4hours) and afternoon drive to Gom Kora.
- Day 15 : Early Morning drive to Gungja Ney and Gomkora Neykor and afternoon drive to Tashigang, visit Tashigang Dzong.
- Day 16 : Tashigang to Bumthang
- Day 17 : Bumthang to Thimphu
